YouTube video downloader controls put your link and MP4 choices together. Paste a video URL, open the format selector, and choose a resolution without moving between separate screens.

Use a standard youtube.com/watch link or a shortened youtu.be URL. Copy the address of the individual video rather than a search result, playlist, or channel page. The link field recognises the video ID and accepts sharing parameters attached to a valid address.

On desktop, copy the address from the browser bar or the video’s Share menu. On mobile, choose Share, copy the link, and return to the input above. Use the Paste button or your device’s normal paste action.

For sound without the picture, open the YouTube to MP3 tool. An individual Short has its own Shorts downloader page with a dedicated link prompt.

The selector includes 480p, 720p, 1080p, and 2160p choices. MP4 is a video container; the resolution label describes the picture dimensions rather than the amount of sound data.

720p is commonly called HD, 1080p is Full HD, and 2160p is often labelled 4K. Higher resolution can preserve more picture detail when the source contains it. Choosing a larger number cannot restore detail missing from the original recording.

Which video links can I enter?

Use a complete YouTube watch URL or a youtu.be video link. Mobile YouTube addresses are also recognised. Channel and playlist-only links don’t identify an individual video.

Where do I choose the resolution?

Paste your link and click Download to open the format panel. Select a resolution from the Video quality menu.

Do I need to install an app?

No installation or account is needed to use the controls on this page. The input, quality selector, and format navigation are available in your browser.

Can I switch from video to audio?

Choose Audio in the tool navigation. The separate MP3 page provides bitrate choices in place of video resolutions.
