AN AUDIO-FIRST EXPERIENCE

Keep the focus on the sound.

YouTube to MP3 starts with your video link and an audio-only choice. The MP3 controls have their own page, so the format stays focused on sound rather than video resolution.

Paste a watch link, youtu.be URL, or an individual Shorts link. Use the complete address from the Share menu, including the video ID. Once the format panel opens, choose the bitrate that suits your preference.

MP3 is an audio format. It doesn’t include the video picture, so you won’t see 720p or 4K in the audio menu. Those resolution labels belong to the video downloader. For a short-form video, open the dedicated Shorts tool.

The page works with your browser’s normal paste controls. If clipboard access isn’t available through the Paste button, click in the input and use Ctrl+V, ⌘V, or your phone’s paste menu.

CHOOSE YOUR AUDIO OPTION

128, 192, or 320 kbps.

The audio selector offers three MP3 bitrates. Bitrate describes the amount of audio data used per second. For the same duration and encoding settings, a higher bitrate generally means a larger file.

128kbps
192kbps
320kbps

A 320 kbps label alone doesn’t establish the quality of a recording. Source quality matters: re-encoding cannot recover detail already missing from the original audio. Choose with that distinction in mind rather than treating the largest number as a guarantee.

AUDIO QUESTIONS

Choose your MP3 settings.

Which bitrates can I select?

The menu contains 128, 192, and 320 kbps options. Select your preferred setting before using the MP3 button.

Can I enter a Shorts link here?

Yes. The link field recognises a correctly structured YouTube Shorts URL as well as standard video and youtu.be links.

Why are video resolutions missing?

This page is focused on audio. MP3 uses bitrate settings; video resolution controls are on the separate video page.

Can I use these controls on my phone?

Yes. Copy the video link, paste it into the input, and choose an audio bitrate. The form and format menu adapt to smaller screens.
