A dedicated place for your Short.
YouTube Shorts downloader controls start with the individual Short you’ve chosen. Paste its address, open the format panel, and select an MP4 quality from the video menu.
This page has a dedicated /shorts/ link field. A channel page, Shorts feed, or playlist address doesn’t identify the individual clip you want to work with. Open the Short itself before copying its address.
On a phone, use the Share menu to copy the link. On desktop, you can copy the browser address while the individual Short is open. Paste it into the field above using the Paste button or your device’s usual paste action.
For a standard watch URL or youtu.be link, open the video downloader. For audio settings from a Short, use the separate YouTube to MP3 page.
Your Short, then your video settings.
A recognised Shorts address contains youtube.com/shorts/ followed by an 11-character video ID. The input checks that structure, and the format panel keeps your resolution choices beside the link.
The Share menu can also provide a shortened youtu.be address. If that happens, open the Short in a browser and copy its /shorts/ address, or enter the shared URL on the general video page.
The MP4 menu includes 480p, 720p, 1080p, and 2160p options. Resolution describes picture dimensions. A higher setting cannot restore detail absent from the original source, and the resolution label alone doesn’t describe the recording’s overall quality.
About your Shorts link.
Which link belongs in this field?
Use an individual youtube.com/shorts/ URL with its video ID. Channel pages and Shorts feeds don’t identify a single clip.
Why is a watch URL rejected here?
The field is dedicated to the explicit /shorts/ address. Standard watch and youtu.be links are accepted on the video page.
Does choosing 4K improve the source?
A higher resolution label cannot add missing picture detail. The original recording determines the detail available to preserve.
Where are the audio bitrate settings?
Choose Audio in the tool navigation. The MP3 page accepts Shorts links and shows audio bitrate controls instead of video resolutions.
